OPIS
Purchasing Quality are responsible for the assurance of parts from a large supplier base in mass production. This is split into 3 main areas: containment, reactive engineers and proactive engineers, to deal with day to day issues through to development of supplies.
Key Role & Responsibilities
As a proactive engineer the responsibilities include, situation analysis of critical suppliers parts, process, systems and management, development of improvement activities to counter poor quality performance. Monitoring of effectiveness and regular supplier management reviews using standard TQM methodology. Investigation of specific parts concerns and countermeasure development and implementation.

- Quality experience within a high volume manufacturing industry
- Understanding of automotive manufacturing expectations
